The Think Twice mission is to reduce the intoxicated driving rate by helping people make more informed decisions. It is common to hear people say they “feel” they're below the Legal Limit, but for most of us, it is difficult to know for sure. When a single-use, reliable breathalyzer test is made widely available to the public we have given everyone an opportunity to think twice about drinking and driving.
The Road to Zero Coalition is managed by the National Safety Council and it has a goal to end roadway deaths in the United States by 2050. The Coalition is made up of over 1527 coalition members. Drive Safe Missoula is a member of the coalition.
The National Safety Council - Road Safety division Saves lives, from the workplace to anyplace. The National Safety Council is America’s leading nonprofit safety advocate. They focus on eliminating the leading causes of preventable injuries and deaths.
The Governors Highway Safety Association (GHSA) is the states’ voice on highway safety. Members are appointed by their governors to administer their state’s highway safety program. Areas of focus include occupant protection; impaired driving; speed enforcement; and drowsy, distracted and aggressive driving; motorcycle, pedestrian and bicycle safety; as well as highway safety information systems.

The National Organizations for Youth Safety builds partnerships that save lives, prevent injuries, and promote safe and healthy lifestyles among all youth while encouraging youth empowerment and leadership.

The purpose of this resource is to provide public health and traffic safety professionals with recommendations for: applying the shared risk and protective factors approach to reduce risky driving behavior, identifying interventions that can address these risk and protective factors to prevent motor vehicle-related injuries and fatalities, and utilizing data resources to measure the impact of these strategies.
