There's a new push to get people to buckle up in the back seat.

The US Navy came out with this ad for seatbelt awareness and I thought it was one of the best commercials I have ever seen.

We've heard all of the excuses. Your seat belt is too scratchy. You're just going down the road. You don't like being told what to do. Poor baby. Maybe you should stop acting like a child? Adults know that seat belts save lives. Adults don't like to get tickets for something that's so easy to do. It's time to buck up and buckle up.

If you crash at 60 mph, and you're not buckled up, it's like falling from 12 stories high. Encourage family and friends to get belted — every seat, every ride — and share this public service announcement.
